- Multisplit heat pump for zoned heating and cooling at half the cost of ground source units;
- Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction for an energy efficient building enclosure;
- Active and passive radiant heat delivery with thermal mass floors;
- Greywater and rainwater systems to reduce water usage.
- Solar water heating and solar electric systems to displace utility electricity.
These and other innovations deliver performance that exceeds Energy Star standards for residential and commercial buildings.
Green from the Start
SolSource Greenbuild follows U.S. Green Building Council’s guidelines for sustainable practices, and we offer LEED Certification as a construction project option. We employ environmentally sensitive construction methods including recycling construction materials to reduce landfill waste, minimal site impact from clearing trees, and use of indigenous plants for landscaping. Whenever possible we make use of local contractors, suppliers, and materials.

We can adapt your plans to meet energy efficient criteria, or we can work with you from the start to design a building specific to your needs. We have been designing and constructing passive solar buildings for more than 30 years.
We offer quality control throughout the construction process to ensure the highest standards. From the pre-design through occupancy, we form alliances with subcontractors, engineers, and specialized trades people to deliver an outstanding building that works for you.
